New Features in Zakuska: Random, Custom, and Paste Modes

We are thrilled to announce a major update to Zakuska, the beating heart of the RUSVIBE learning platform. Zakuska has always been about creating your own personalized piece of text with deep linguistic analysis, but now, we are giving you even more control over how that text is generated.

1. Random Mode

Not sure what to study today? Random Mode automatically selects your top 5 most recently saved words and weaves them into a natural, level-appropriate Russian paragraph. It’s the perfect way to reinforce your short-term memory without any extra effort.

2. Custom Mode

For those who want complete control, Custom Mode lets you hand-pick specific words and sentences from your personal vocabulary list. Zakuska will craft a coherent story or dialogue using exactly the items you want to focus on. This is ideal for preparing for specific scenarios or mastering a difficult set of terms.

3. Paste Mode

This is our most powerful addition yet. With Paste Mode, you can copy-paste any Russian text, provide a YouTube link, or upload a file. Zakuska will ingest the content and provide our signature comprehensive grammatical analysis, breaking down verb aspects, noun cases, and rhetorical nuances.
