On RURussian, there are roughly 100,000+ core Russian words available to be looked up—including approximately 25,000 verbs, 50,000 nouns, 15,000 adjectives, and 10,000 other parts of speech.
For deeper context, we rely on the GPT-5 family of models. GPT-5 offers unprecedented contextual understanding and nuanced grammatical precision, capable of flawlessly navigating the complex morphological rules of the Russian language.
Using GPT-5-mini, we dynamically generate an average of 5 to 10 context-specific example sentences per word definition. GPT-5-mini boasts ultra-fast inference (often sub-second) and is highly cost-effective while retaining near-perfect grammatical accuracy for structured linguistic tasks.
The hyper-realistic pronunciation audio provided across the platform is powered by OpenAI's Conversational Mode (TTS), ensuring native-sounding intonation and stress.
